What am i excited to learn from this internship
When I first found out that I was going to doing this as my internship, i was not sure what i was going to be learning or, what i even what I was going to be gaining from this. As I walked into the company I was met by one the people from the hr department who I finished filling out my papers with. He then took me to the security were I got my entry ID badge. Once I had gotten my badge I was introduced to everyone in the department that I was working in. once that was over I went through a tour of the whole facility which consists of to building a warehouse and a company store, once I had finished with the tour I got my own desk and laptop computer and started my day and as the day progressed I found out more about how the company runs, For example that they use this building as one of the there main production line locations. I also found out during this first day that Ashworth, adidas and TaylorMade are all part of the same corporation. Near the end of the day i went into a meeting were I found out that I was going to be doing a project on how to better implement the learn process into there pc build process, in order to increase productivity. So one of the many things that I am excited to learn from this internship is first off how the lean process works as well as how I am going to be able use it in order to improve the way that there pc department builds the computers.

career day
The company i did my career day at was Best Buy, I did the internship in the Home Theater area of the store. The company cells audio/video gear mainly or the home and car.
When the internship started i thought that i was going to be doing my career day at the geek squad part of the store but, a few moments after i had entered i found that i was going to be doing it at the home theater department. That did not bother me much since i am interested in that stuff anyway. So i headed over there and met up with one of the people who worked in this department. She spent the first 15 minutes or so answering a telephone call from a person wanting geek squad to install there system. After she had finished i followed here around for a while. When the setup of the small tv was complete and was working we moved onto cleaning some of the tv's and then after that we made tags for some open box products. Later on during the day i found out what some of the mumbo jumbo that you hear over the loudspeakers actually means, As well as seeing were they store everything and were they have there breaks. I then spent the rest of the day hanging around doing little things.
